a once in a lifetime experience

a once in a lifetime experience

As a company of passionate animal lovers, we wanted to reach our fans in a memorable way to celebrate the release of our newest bar – salted peanuts in dark chocolate featuring the African Elephant. Along with our partners Wildlife Conservation Network and Save The Elephants, we saw our new bar as a chance for us to provide someone with a truly special, once-in-a-lifetime experience. Two lucky chocolate lovers will be heading to Africa for 6 days! Members of our Endangered Species Chocolate team have been to Africa in recent years to explore our partnership with local cocoa farmers. Every person has felt the experience to be powerful and inspirational. We are equally excited about sharing the impact our work is making with our GiveBack partners, so we decided to bring some of our fans with us to experience the positive work we are doing to save wildlife!
The trip will take place June 16-22, 2019 and will include:
  • Covered airfare into and out of Nairobi, Kenya
  • Visit to Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage
  • Two days at Elephant Watch Camp in Kenya
  • Wildlife viewing and lodging at Giraffe Manor and Sala’s Camp
  • A day at the famous and visually spectacular Masai Mara
Endangered Species Chocolate, which annually donates 10 percent of its net profits to wildlife conservation causes and has donated $5 million to wildlife since 2005, is working with partner Wildlife Conservation Network to offer this once in a lifetime experience. Wildlife Conservation Network is a supporting partner of the Elephant Crisis Fund. Much has been written about the population trends for elephants. Between 2002-11, it is estimated that 62% of the world’s elephant population was lost. National Geographic has determined we lose 27,000 elephants in Africa every year. The issue still persists, leading Endangered Species Chocolate to bring awareness and funding to these causes through the purchasing of its products, its annual donations and by supporting eco-tourism to bring supporters to the world’s most amazing habitats. In addition to the grand prize trip, there are many opportunities to win. Fans can win elephant-themed prizes and Rocketbook Everlast Mini notebooks.
